Privacy Policy

I.What stays on your device

• Everything you record: the items you take with their doses and schedules as you entered them, every dose and injection site, lab results with the ranges you typed, check-ins and symptoms, appointment dates and your questions. It is stored inside the app on your iPhone and is included in your own iCloud or computer backup.
• The visit page and exports: the visit page PDF and the data export are made on your iPhone. They go only where you choose to send them.
• Reminders: dose reminders are scheduled on your iPhone and name the item they are for, so they can appear on your lock screen. You can turn them off in Settings. No reminder passes through our servers.
• No account: there is no sign-up, no profile and no copy of your record on our servers. We cannot see what you record.

II.Apple Health

This version of Brisket does not read from or write to Apple Health.

III.What leaves your device

• Subscription status: if you subscribe, RevenueCat and Apple process your purchase and tell the app whether Premium is active, using an anonymous app identifier. We never see your card or your name.
• Usage data, only if you choose it: if you choose "Share anonymous usage data", Firebase Analytics records which screens are opened and Firebase Crashlytics sends crash reports. Neither ever includes what you record: not the names of what you take, your doses, your answers in setup, your lab results or your check-ins. It is off unless you turn it on, and you can turn it off in Settings, Your record.
• App updates: Brisket may check Expo's update service for small fixes to the app. That request carries the app's version and an anonymous install identifier, never your record.
• The launch list (website): if you leave your email on getbrisket.app, we keep it with Cloudflare, with the time you signed up and the link you came from, only to write to you once when Brisket is in the App Store. Then we delete it.
• Clinic enquiries (website): if you fill in the clinic form on getbrisket.app, we keep the clinic name, your name, work email, role, the rough number of patients you chose and your message with Cloudflare, only to talk to you about Brisket. We delete them when you ask, or when the conversation ends.

IV.What we don't do

• No advertising, and no sale or rental of personal data.
• No tracking across other companies' apps or websites.
• No sending of your doses, items, lab results or check-ins to us or to anyone else.
• No selling, sharing or use of health information for advertising or marketing.

V.Who else handles data

Only the services named above, acting on our instructions: Apple (the App Store, notifications and your backups, under Apple's own policy), RevenueCat (subscription status), Expo (app updates), Google Firebase (usage data and crash reports, only if you opt in), and Cloudflare (the website and its launch list). We disclose data to authorities only where the law requires it.

VI.Keeping and deleting

To delete everything Brisket holds on your iPhone, open Settings, Your record, Erase everything. Deleting the app also deletes it; a copy may remain in an older device backup until that backup is replaced. Usage data you chose to share is kept by Google under its retention settings and is not linked to your record. Launch-list addresses are deleted after the one launch email, or sooner if you ask. Clinic enquiries are deleted when you ask or when the conversation ends.

VII.Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask to see, correct, export or delete the personal data we hold, and object to its use. Residents of the EU, the UK and California have these rights by law. Write to us and we will answer within 30 days.

VIII.Children

Brisket is made for adults on prescribed treatment and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

IX.Changes and contact
